We provide a network of peer support for people who would like to meet and talk to others who share experiences and feelings that are unique to growing up gay in today’s culture. We meet weekly to watch movies, hear speakers, discuss important LGBTQA events, and generate bonds between students queer and straight alike. What goes on? The Rensselaer Pride Alliance holds weekly meetings on Wednesdays. The format of the meeting changes every week. Meetings vary and include business meetings, discussion groups with a topic chosen each week by the group, and social meetings including movie and game nights.
